In this review, we present important concepts to describe inorganic–organic interfaces in hybrid solar cells. We discuss the formation of interfaces, provide an introduction ground-state electronic structure individual components, and detail overall landscape after combining into a material for different relevant cases. then explore impact on photophysical processes that are crucial photovoltaic performance Within framework, methods interface modification toward optimization cells, such as doping, application interlayers, morphological control.
